BIENVENIDOS
Welcome to the blog of the University of Illinois School of Architecture Abroad program in Sant Cugat. This blog has been created with the purpose of sharing firsthand experiences from the inaugural Barcelona Class of 2015. Here you will find bi-weekly blog posts from various student authors, photos of our surrounding environment at ETSAV (Escola Tecnica Superior d'Arquitectura del Valles), any trips we take throughout Spain and Europe, and images of our architectural and artistic student work.
Maya is most excited for… Becoming a better designer through experiencing and studying various forms of architecture. Also becoming a more knowledgeable world citizen through learning about various cultures and traditions throughout Europe. Not to mention all the gastronomic culture!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Maya Krolikowski, Website Creator Hometown: Wilmette, IL As a recipient of the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, I have chosen to create and manage this website as part of my service project. My goal in producing this is to cultivate a central hub of communication where interested students, professors, faculty, family, friends (and truly anyone!) can learn about the whereabouts of the students partaking on this yearlong journey. Rather than being the main author of this source, the website will contain the perspectives and voices of the entire class through blog posts and shared photos. I’m very excited to share this with everyone. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. To do this, please refer to the “Contact” link above. |
